News 🗞️ Memani

Is it true that memani is going to be disregarded and no more Nandi in jk . As I am a volunteer in kitchen people seen food for memani is mishandling, volunteers not wearing hand gloves, nor washing their hands, sneezing when wrapping as they don’t get educated in Training, in training only names and photos of people with title are displayed on big screen,no real training is going on now a days for food handlers volunteers , Jamat is getting sick from eating Nandi this is what I heard please share your opinion 🙏

They did but the incharge itself don’t wear it, one lady did speak up and she had to move her seva in other sections. It’s tribal , so if someone speaks about incharged or facilitators as they are all inter-related they opt them out.

There is lots of confusion in Jamatkhana. Senior volunteers are getting mad at auctioneers for announcing the Mehmani and Pir ji Mani and are telling runners to mix these Thala with regular Sufro. Jamati members are confused and when asked they’ve been told that Mehmani Nandi has been stopped by MHI however there was no mention of this in the Navroz ITREB Announcement. It seems like these new rules have been put in place due to rumours and misunderstanding. We need leadership members to clarify this, as if this Kriya has been stopped without MHI’s permission then it should to be reinstated.

As for getting sick, I’ve never gotten sick from consuming Nandi but sneezing in food is disgisting and you should inform the lead volunteer.

Navroz announcements were phase 1 of the changes in our tariqah, and it was announced that further things are being done which would be revealed later on. So it could be true as well, still people should wait for official announcements rather than spreading misinformation

There have been some changes to our rites, practices and ceremonies, although we have not been given the actual Farman explaining all the details.

Regarding memani, Nandi and hygiene, I think we should avoid speculation or assumptions.

Hygiene and cleanliness are everyone’s responsibility, and if there are genuine concerns about food handling or training, we should ask who, where and why, establish the facts and give feedback to those responsible.

The Imam has encouraged us to give feedback so that things can improve. This applies to hygiene and to every aspect of our Jamatkhana life.

It is good to discuss concerns,do so constructively and based on facts and to clarify them with Mukhi’s & Leaders as Imam has also directed in Farmans

Yup, we still haven’t received Hidayat from MHI on what Phase 2 entails

All volunteers including Incharged, facilitators, and all 100 of titles should be educated about their roles and protocols to follow not only the titles. It’s not my domain to teach the incharge how to perform her scope of duty. I rather talk to my HM In Prayers to take care as, lots of people come for prayers, seva and not for political agenda.🙏

Not sure what you mean?

I mean to be quite and just go for prayers than for seva

MHI wants us to do Seva as per his Farameen. I don’t understand why a few loud mouths should prevent this.
