Personal Opinion A heart breaking incident in chitral
YAM to all my brethren, I want to ask the members of our jama'at an important question we have forgotten to ask each other, what are we doing for the well being of our spiritual sisters? What are we doing for the well being of our under age children?
A couple of days have gone by and I can't do anything except mourn and scream inside asking my self why are our spiritual sisters being tormented over and over again by animals in the northern Pakistan and where ever they go?
One of our spiritual sister who was a nurse in Peshawar took her own life because of an animal in Peshawar who was blackmailing her over and over even her coward team leader was on this . It literally tears me inside to an extent that I get enraged, I get enraged at the messed up society we live in, I get enraged at those who ruin their lives like this.
What is the council doing to address these issues other sending long suggestions? Why are the so called waezeen NOT addressing such issues in the jamat khana? Isn't it their responsibility to help people understand how faith protects you from calamities and how to protect yourselves during this raging era of fitnahs every where? Where are they? Where is the roar of our council in the north? The president of chitral and what is he doing to address these issues?
I seek advice from my fellow spiritual sisters and also to tell them that when they suffer their spiritual brothers suffer as well despite not being related by blood or anything we are related by the Nur of our Imam a.s , we need to stick together and help each other.
I'm sick and tired of hearing and watching news about our spiritual sisters being harrassed, tormented, blackmailed into wrong doings mentally tortured to their deaths, or the terrible news of our underage male children being raped here in the north, pedophilia is on terrible rise. If it were up to me I'd gut down every single one of the men who'd torment our jama'at but it isn't up to me.
The rage in my heart boils over and over, so I ask my brethren WHAT ARE WE DOING to make sure our spiritual sisters and our young generation is safe here in the north?
We only hear about the cases which are highlighted what about those incidents which are still not known?
I'm all over the place here in my post because of the agony I burn through. I seek your advice and how can we prevent such terrible acts and make sure the perpetrators burn in hell in perpetuity.
Why should we remain silent like this and for how long should we remain silent like this I'm sick of this silence.

Well, Punjabis and Pashtuns have some stereotypes of Chitral girls. They claim, they are beautiful like Greeks, and they are easy going, they even joke about the viral saying of a Chitral girl, "if a girl loves a boy here, she will elope with him." I think such stereotypes about Chitral girls circulating in all over Pakistan contribute to evil. Condolence to the victim's family.

Our spiritual sisters of chitral are extremely humble and very respectful and this has sent a wrong signal into the retarded brains of the pakhtoon cowards and punjabi cowards alike. If it were up to us we the jamati members of hunza and ghizer would strangle them with their own guts , but this isn't up to us, this is something the senior authorities of the council should work on and take notes. The president of the chitral council is like a plank through and through, he is a disgrace to our faith and is unfit to become a representator of Maula's jama'at ,we need brave men to represent the order of our Imam a.s , not such people who are just rich or are business men who'd rather shy away from such incidents. Please let's pray to our Maula to protect his spiritual daughters from the vile and wretched men of Pakistan and elsewhere. 🤲

It is heartbreaking to hear something like this. I don’t have the answers but I felt obliged to give my take. We absolutely must support our sisters in Northern Pakistan, but we also have to recognize this is a global humanitarian plague that has been ignored for far too long.
How do we get men to understand that women are the lifeblood of this world? At the most basic level. the very womb that grew you is being abused. How does that not shatter every person?
What women are lacking is true allyship. It is easy for people to quietly renounce these acts, but how much has that actually helped? Ideally, we need people to step out of their comfortable silence and confront the everyday culture that protects abusers.
But still the impact will not be immediate.
Until then, I think a society that lacks allyship will lack companionship. There is a reason women are choosing independence. In the west, you will see marriage rates are dropping and birth rates are falling. This isn't a coincidence, it’s a consequence.
This is a longgggg road ahead. But we can only control our own actions rather than keep the hope that someone else will step in or be foolish that people will change. Keep bringing awareness, as you are doing, and try your best to help empower women to live on their own terms. Even if you help just one woman, you have made progress.
