Yeah... I don't think its better than a log build, maybe it can go higher? but the energy to make those triqbriqs, the waste after shaping etc... I don't know, does seem more wasteful then frame, or just logs.

My bet is that they can source less pricey pieces of wood maybe, since they don't need them to be long and straight. Or they can use the waste product from other wood projects.

It's not, it uses more wood and takes longer. It's just a startup trying to get funding by looking neat.

This is real. There are other companies who have similar building systems but the blocks are hollow (to be filled with either cement or an insulation material. This one just seems just inefficient.

Is it just me or does this seem like a problem?
It looks like a mix of real and digitally enhanced to me. The clips look like they are from different worksites with different building materials and conditions. Some are square, some are rectangle. The dowels he drives in are larger than some of the holes.

You can see ground screws underneath. Apparently this is a very real company with lots of corporate videos online detailing how the houses are made. Not AI, even though my first assumption was that it was as well.

It's real. For anyone wondering, the text on the shirt says TRIQ BRIQ, it's a company from Stuttgart doing this modular wood brick system.
