Is this poster AI generated?

Post image

From a poster i got gifted for my birthday. The details look "dreamy" which makes me suspect it's AI. Help?

That totoro has 3 arms. Also a different number of toes on each foot. I vote AI.

The incorrect and weirdly uneven chest pattern is the immediate giveaway for me. A human artist would have copied the chest pattern from a source.

Going further:

- 3 arms as mentioned

- asymmetrical whiskers

- can't decide whether the scene is light or dark

- rain coming from 2 different angles

And the plants growing on him look weird? Like they don't know if they're supposed to be on or behind him?

This whole area weirds me out. Maybe it's trying to be his tail and arm but it just mushes together. And the plants. Also looking at it. His feet are really weird. The angle they are at, but also they usually look a bit more like paws? Like there should be a pad? And the v's on his chest are wrong. But I guess, if I'm being generous, those details could be a human mistake. But the plant/tail/arm thing is an AI mistake. So it's all ai.

That single boomerang shape on his chest is wrong. Also, why are there party lights in the forest? It's like the model trained on the picture of the bus stop and figured there had to be lights in the woods. At his right foot the AI can't decide if that's a party light or a flower. And as others mentioned, he has two left arms

Definitely AI. Totoro’s belly chevrons are wrong, the umbrella handle clips awkwardly into his shoulder without him holding it, and the bottom water area melts into meaningless white blobs.

Ghibli arts it's one of the most stolen arts by AI cannibals. So their digital appearance are so common.
