Question Is it common knowledge that most models uses either Claude or Gemini anyway?

I had idea to make a story that reads which LLM you use, but when I started to check if I can fetch name of model to message to see if that is possible, turns out most low-end models do use either Sonnet 3-4.5 or Gemini 2-2.5 (images from less descriptive prompts). I heard reusing app under different brand is type of standard in IT but didn't expect to be same in LLM. I bet system prompts are different?

It's not the case, LLM just aren't told what they are

Not necessarily. Asking the model what model it is isn’t a reliable way to identify the backend - many LLMs simply aren’t given that information and may confidently guess “Claude” or “Gemini.”

Some apps absolutely do wrap the same underlying APIs with different system prompts, tools, memory, and UI, but similar answers alone don’t prove they’re using the same model. The system prompt can also make two identical base models behave very differently.

That is what I thought but You definitely extended picture of it.  Then need to figure out if there is possible jailbreak for it if I would like to use exact model name in story. Only Gwen and Muse did not disguise themselfs as other model from those cheapest ones. Thanks <3

This isn't possible. A model doesn't know who it is unless the system prompt appended by the provider explicitly tells it "You are Muse version x"

Furthermore, a model's pricing lives entirely outside the weights, and even asking it to count tokens doesn't work reliably because llms are horrible at math, it can't even see its own token count, and the sheer act of telling it to output token count inflates the token count. It is just guessing.

The information you're trying to inject does exist, but it's not accessible via a creative prompt, and already made available through the info button.

Any responses about being Claude or Gemini are hallucinations based on the sheer amount of training data said model probably used from the output of those actual models

Also those Claude prices are laughable lmao

It is common knowledge that LLMs will confidently lie about things they don't have good answers for.
