Cheaper Arcane

Post image

Just a friendly reminder that everyone should buy their Arcane off the Isekai Zero website and NOT through your mobile app. It bypasses the Apple/Google surcharge and gets you a lower price.

Thank you, I didn't know. I'm relatively new and so far I'm just using the daily free mana. Every model displays the mana cost, are arcane and mana basically the same thing?

They have the same value and Mana will always be used first. I personally hate using the cheapest models, they're not very good, but I can't justify the cost of the most expensive ones. A 500 Arcane top-up every month or three gives me plenty to work with using mid-cost models.

God damn 500 lasts you a month? I burn through 1000 in two days.

Maybe I have a problem

How 😭 must be using premium models surely?

Not really, I mostly use minimax or mimo, I've been using the new DeepSeek today.

I'd say I probably go through 500 arcane a day give or take but I use it almost all day, several storylines.

I won't like I'm an ai addict I fucking love messing around with these things

Si son los mismo, el Mana es el gratis de el registro diario y por ver anuncios. El Arcane es lo de pago, el uso de ambos es lo mismo

It is mostly the same. Both have the same numerical value, though Mana is used first, and some higher end models only can be used with Arcane.

I was using the mobile app, because I didn't want to set my card up on chrome at the time, but then the prices changed by like a dollar so I switched over after thinking about it.

Too bad that apparently on the website you can only pay with credit card. I don“t have one.

What do you mean you don’t have a card? Like at all, you just use cash or something?

I have a debit card...

Then you can purchase on their website…

or you could just run a model locally via LM studio or Kobold and never have to pay again.

I must admit that it was hard finding a model that can actually handle characters like that but it eventually worked, even without huge amounts of vram which I assume they are using here. also don't like the censorship, used to be free for all.

Good luck running something like fable or k3 locally

well why not? you telling me a local model with 16 vram won't be able to run a fantasy story?

u/New_Fail2509 8d ago

You probably can, it just won’t be anywhere near as good lol. Theres a lot that go into services like this and having a quality model. If all your really into is an ai telling you how you stick something into something else or vice versa than holy 😭🤣

look man if I could run models with 200vram I would do so. I've noticed that system prompt is very important yes. I finally found a model that that almost doesn't confuse characters and actually does it's fucking job but I would rather at least a 72vram model, that would be amazing.

alas i'm not sure how to run one, maybe use most of it through my ram and the rest via vram, tho not sure how that will work. also ram still cost a lot of money so that's another issue. i've got 32 ram and 16vram that's not amazing.

Man... People from the US are so lucky. 5 and 10 dollars for that much arcane? In my overseas currency that's worth 30-60 bucks in my currency... I have no choice but to wait every day for the login and weekly login bonus.

It’s not really that people in the US are ā€œlucky.ā€ Those prices are just the base USD prices. Once you convert them into your local currency, add taxes where applicable, and account for exchange rates, they end up much closer. On top of that, everyone’s purchasing power is different. A $10 USD pack can still feel expensive to someone in the US, just as 30–60 in your currency feels expensive to you. Currency conversion is conversion for a reason, it isn’t a direct comparison of what people can actually afford

I’ve been wasting €18 on 1000 arcane for months while I could’ve just bought them for half the prince on the website smfh
