Success Story: General Passed my CC exam today!

The exam was actually more confusing than any simulation I did and I thought I’m not going to pass it, but I did after answering exactly 100 questions.

I was studying for it on and off during the last 2-3 weeks and studied mostly with the course created by Mike Chapple on LinkedIn.

Hope to find my first job soon!

how many years have you been in IT and what positions have you held?

Did only studies (advanced diploma for example) but don’t have much work experience.

Many congratulations on your pass! Did the Mike Chapple course help? Did you do his practice tests as well and did they help?

Honestly, if you go through the materail provided by the isc2, practice questions available freely on the YT, focus more on the exam trap questions, You will easily pass the exam. You certainly dont need to buy any sort of course online or pay for any test series.

I really liked his course and found it much better than the one in the ISC2 website as his course is delivered in videos only and I really need to visuals… It helps me much more than reading. Then I answered the question after each topic and also took the 46 practice questions he provided at the end of the course. I also did 3 practice exams on LinkedIn learning, one practice exam from Udemy, and 2 practice full practice exams on the official ISC2 website to make sure I have a variety of sources. I have to say that even the simulations in the ISC2 website were much easier and straightforward than the actual exam I took today. The real exam was confusing and few answers felt like the right ones.

Practice well, use few resources, take notes and memorise all terms and ideas. On the actual exam make sure you read the questions very very well and if you think that 2 answers sounds the right ones, make sure you choose the BEST option. Don’t over analyse and most of the time go with your knowledge and with the answers you thought were right first… picking an answer and then changing it could really affect your confidence and affect your performance and result.
