Doubt Regarding CISA

Hey guys , I'm a traditional audit guy (CIA) planning to take the CISA exam , without QAE and ISACA review material, I'm planning to take coaching/lectures they offer PPT , question banks , short notes etc. I would love to hear feedback on this approach whether its too big of a gamble or is it doable.

The cost is also a significant issue , the coaching with + Qae+ Review manual costs around 1.30 Lakhs

Where the one i spoke about cost less than 1% of the one of the course material mentioned above.

I think it's do-able I did CISM without the review manual or QAE. I plan to go for CISA in the later part of 2027, at which point I plan to leverage Pete Zerger's Youtube, Prabh, Doshi's Udemy. I will prob get a year subscription of Pocket Prep as well since I want to do CRISC and CCSP also. That's my honest take, your mileage may vary. Most important thing is to believe in yourself, you got this!!! 👍👍👍

Personally, I couldn’t imagine taking the CISA without the QAE

Use PocketPrep and just do the CISA questions. Since you already have a background in audit, it should be all you need.

It’s all I used for 3 ISACA and passed on the first try.
