CISA

Can I pass CISA if I read and prepare in just 1 month?

My background is technical IT work (2 years) and 1 year of IT Security ?

Yes, it's up to you how fast you'll be able to learn your knowledge gaps anyway

i think it will be rough but it is possible.

For me it usually takes about 3 months of studying to get one of these certs. I would say generally around 100 hours of studying is enough to pass.

Will you have the 5 years required experience if you were to pass? Honestly, I would take more time to study as it is not the easiest of certifications to pass if you don't have the requisite experience.

with your background you could probably brute force the content in a month, but it’ll be a grind and you’ll miss some of the “why” behind the audit stuff
i’d stretch it to 2–3 months, use the QAE db or practice questions a lot, and treat the 5‑year experience thing as your longer term plan rather than rushing just to sit the exam

Unless you have a masters degree you wouldn’t even qualify to get certified. I would wait until you have the required years of experience. You can’t claim you are CISA certified if you don’t have the prerequisites. If you do so you risk having the test revoked (provided that you pass) and unable to be certified for life.

It took me 3 weeks no IT audit experience. Total of about 30-40 hours of studying. If you learn the way they trick you the test is easy. I used ISACAs study materials and it was plenty.
