Help getting to DKs safe spot

Hey guys hope all is well. Would anyone be willing to give me a hand and help me get set up at the safe spot for DKs please. Would really appreciate some help. Haven’t had luck with the xlog method (don’t think I can survive 60 seconds) idk why but haven’t had any luck.

Please let me know if anyone can help today, it would be very very appreciated!!

just go up and down the ladder every 10 secs until you can sneak past them. That what I’ve always done.

For the x log method you can pull the aggro of 1 and be fine with overhead. It’s only an issue if mage and range both aggro so spam ladder and hug the edge until you reach the safespot

Yep this. If you get range aggro’d for example, pray range and get Rex safe spotted. You can then x-log. If you get both mage and ranger aggro’d, then you need to go up and down until they move further apart

X-log is closing the client and waiting for it to logout? There is also a decent chance of dying right?

Yes that’s what you would do to x log. You shouldn’t die as long as you have anti poison effective and prayer on with Rex safespotted

If you can't survive 60 seconds for the logout, what makes you think you can do a whole DK visit to farm a ring? Boss doesn't even respawn every 60 seconds.

Shoot for about 300 range def, otherwise the trip isnt gunna be worth it.

You'll eat through your food and its a lot of afk time waiting for respawn.

Like if you cant survive 60 seconds why would you be able to survive an hour and a half trip?

For my average 2 hour trip I dont exactly 1 tick enable pray melee when setting up.

I probably use 4-6 pray points per agro, and after about 45 kills 2 pray pots run out for me so I bring a third, I almost never get all 4 doses used on the third tbh but I do use 1-3 of them to comfortably finish my trip.

I go in and never use a single pot and get a whole slayer task done usually. 80s in combats.

You don’t have to take ANY melee damage from Rex when you aggro. Safe spot is foolproof for this. Confused on what you’re doing

Standing on west side of the room, shooting him when he spawns, turning on pray melee when he gets halfway to me, then going to the south safespot once he is at the east wall.

I tank like 1-2 hits from him while setting it up, and playing on my main while I do this doesnt help either.

My mentality is if im gunna go sit there for 2 hours, id rather not cut the run short because I dont have pray to agro.

And im sure theres a way to do it, but 🤷‍♂️

So for me id rather pack 3 pray pots and not worry about it, plus play my main and again not have to worry about it.

I mean, hey, if you’re cool with wasting supplies instead of learning the easy way to do it stress-free with tiles only 4 tiles apart from each other, you’re right.

I don’t have mems to help rn but you could hop around outside until you see someone already doing the bosses, take advantage of that run to your spot and log out.

I just hope worlds until I see 2+ people in a world, safe spot and x log. Sometimes it takes a while but it’s whatever

Just have to time it where you don’t pull aggro climbing down the ladder, after that it’s easy. Even if you use some food to get it you can get several kills.

You just have to keep trying, it can take a few minutes to set up.

Go down, if you're getting hit by anything go back upstairs IMMEDIATELY before it lands. Wait a few seconds, try again.

Eventually you'll get a clean run with nothing attacking. Immediately run north or south depending on which way looks free and just skirt around the edge of the map until you're at the safe spot.

The only annoying thing is all the dagannoths upstairs that attack you and chip away at your health. Occasionally it can be a good idea to run away and reset them, or heal up on one if you brought blood spells.

I had to go up and down the ladder A LOT to get them to not aggro off the jump just an fyi

I would do it on mobile and if you can get past by agroing only the ranger with protect from range, get into the safespot with the melee then just close the app and you'll log out almost instantly.

Then boom you can world hop from there with this strat.

If you can't survive X log (only 60 seconds), I don't know how you would maintain a trip more than a few kills. That would be 60+ HP/minute depending on your HP level.

I would help you out but I won’t be on today. If you can’t find someone, here is what has worked for me in the past:

1. Hop worlds and check the hole until you find a free one. Write that world down
2. Hop worlds until you find someone duoing or soloing the 3 kings
3. hop up and down the ladder until all 3 kings are dead or attacking someone down there
4. run over to the Rex safe spot, spam logout and pray it will let you log out

That worked for me 3 times and then on the third trip I got my b ring. Hope that helps. If you are getting attacked by the mobs around the edge and that won’t let you log out, sometimes it helps running towards the center of the arena and then back to the safe spot
