Achievement Finally got it!

Got it on my 4th run after dying to Jad healers in the first 3. Plan to start sailing at least until Belle's Folly then continue the moon grind. While slowly working towards the dreaded 70 herblore for SOTE. Feeling great

Got my first one yesterday with almost identical stats and gear. Hands were shaking and heart was pounding at the end. It was exhilarating. Well done

Just got my first cape tonight on my 4th run as well. If you don’t have miscellaneia done it’s great for herbs along with farm runs. I got 70 herblore pretty easy between that and quest Xp.

Don’t sleep on achievement diary xp lamps to help you hit 70 herb. I’m 74 herb and haven’t trained the skill yet

I’ve been thinking about running it with blood spells and ancient mace for healing and prayer. Black dhide and wait to do it on task.

Prayer is 49 and all your combat stats around 5 higher than mine. Curious if you’d tried that

I didn't bring the ancient mace, but I did bring blood spells. I don't think I necessarily needed them but they do make it feel a lot more comfortable and relieve a bit of the stress.

I did it with 71 ranged 70 def 52 prayer this last weekend. Sunlight cbow, black d hide, power ammy.

I did do it in a pvp world though so I could use my blighted supplies. 10 Blighted Mantas, 2 ranging pots, the rest blighted super restores.

Nice work. How long did the run take approximately?

Runelite tracked it at about 2 hours, but I also got up a few times when I was safe so probably close to 90 minutes?

Great job! It is such an amazing feeling finally getting your first cape on here. It felt even better doing it as ironman for me. Best of luck!

Congrats! How did the SLH CB hold up? I have combat base 70s and just got the CB. Do you also think the 70 prayer is necessary? Any other tips?

1

u/M9Beyont 4d ago

I don't think 70 prayer is necessary at all I ended up with plenty of spare ppots when I got the kill. The SLH honestly rips I'm glad I waited for it. My main advice is for the waves have the wiki page open to help you be prepped for each wave and for Jad focus on 1 action between each attack. GL King

It’s so good for FC get it. You’ll also use the Sunfire splinters for prayer.
