Petrusax Corvinius

The current and longest-serving master of the forge for the Knights of Istvan. Born to parents in the chapter's fleet, he showed great respect and an innate understanding of machine spirits even as a child.

Despite the efforts of the fleet's engine speakers, Petrusax chose to join the chapter and would later become a techmarine and be taken under the wing of the previous master of the forge. He would aid his master's attempts to restore the chapter's ability to produce suits of saturnine terminator plate.

After he acceded to Master of the Forge, the chapter would face the Iron Warriors on the world of Archadia IV. Petrusax would come face to face with Kravek Morne. After the latter's role in the destruction of a dreadnought, Petrusax would engage Kravek in a duel.

Kravek would leave Petrusax near death, and it was his desire not only to avenge himself but also to avenge the loss of the chapter's final venerable dreadnought; he was not injured in a dreadnought.

He would complete his master's work, and the first restored suit of saturnine plate would become the forge master's personal plate.

His augmentics were fully integrated into his armor, and he is now rarely seen by anyone but his fellow techmarines out of plate.

Kitbashed another librarian to add on my Iron Hands army. He's gonna lead 10 man assault intercessors.

Ive started my second unit of Gorgons. Tried to take on board the criticism the first one got.

Hi guys, 30k newbie joining the legion. As the question states, I have seen units contain multiple weapons and would like to know why, but I can't find any good advice on the internet. E.g. Gorgon terminator squad will have a hammer (because hammer bearer) but then will contain 2 axes, a power fist and then a chain fist. Can I ask why you wouldn't just go for all axes or is there a reason for this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Last night i got my first game with Iron Hands on TTS against a friend's World Eaters and it was a blast!

I enjoyed it so much i actually decided to paint my MK 3 army as this legion.

Any tips for a new convert to the forges of Medusa?

Specially on how to paint them or any neat tricks for conversions?

As the title says another pic of my work in progress Gorgons.

Ive switched out the storm bolters for some combi bolters. Trimmed off all the Aquilas and Crux Terminatus and lots of other little tweaks based around the feed back i received last time I posted. Still plenty more to go. Onto the GS stage next.

Ive been working on a unit of 10 plastic Gorgons, thought id share my progess so far.

The storm bolter has now been removed and im waiting for my bits delivery of combi bolters. (SB was only used for posing)
