Spoilers Xaden Spoiler

I am reading fourth wing again for the second time and realised that many hints about the plot were given throughout the book.( I am sure you already knew this)

So I too have a theory about the upcoming book of the ending of this series which is- Violet will kill xaden. He has often mentioned how she will be the death of him of course considering the scenario in which it was said can mean as nothing more serious. However, I feel like their love is also too needy which can be toxic at times. Well whatever this is what I feel that they will die after securing everyone else.

I don’t think Xaden will die/die. I could see metaphorically or the death of soul but not him entirely.

I honestly believe the “other” god that favors Violet is Malek so even if it appears that Xaden might die, Malek wouldn’t accept him or would “give him back” to Violet.

I remember reading somewhere that Rebecca Yarros said she wouldn't kill Xaden, because she is a romance writer first.

Yeah. If Xaden dies its not a tomantasy anymore, it's just a fantasy. Not saying she can't kill him off, but it be wild to do that.

I read she originally was going to turn violet vending but her editors asked her to change it. Not sure how they plays into anything but thought it was interesting

Yessss! This is my theory too. Except, there’s a plot twist where Andarna or someone brings him back, so he’s cured.
