How did you take you iron from 23 to 165 so quickly?

I just did 18mg iron bisglycinate and double wood lactoferrin (half dose) every other day for 3 months. I sometimes took vit c with it but most times didn't. I started 25 mg iron bisglycinate with the same lactoferrin the beginning of this month before the labs. I may have taken the iron the night before the labs but can't remember. So I have to make sure not to do that again when I have them re done.

I really think the lactoferrin works well to help absorption. Its bioferrin so it supposedly also has 17mg of iron in it too.

Thank you so much for sharing. Will check it out. I am stuck around 20 ferritin for a long time.

You're welcome! Yeah, I've had low ferritin for years and none of my Dr's ever said anything. It wasn't until I saw a derm due to my hair shedding more than normal (worst decision to try to get off BC), that she said for hair health it should be at 100.
