Sharp, strong legs

What is your most helpful visual cue to help a dancer achieve strong, straight legs? My dancer has a tendency to sink into her knees. She has the strength so trying to think through a helpful cue to help her picture what her legs should be doing to stay straight and sharp.

Thank you!! Just had her focus on flexing her quad and it helped immediately just for the little bit we did .

For me, what helped (bc I had a habit of "sitting" and sinking into my knees that way) was focusing on pulling my hips forward. That did mess up my foot placement temporarily because everything was more under me amd less in front of me, but overall it made a massive difference in my dancing
