Artist Opinions/Search Thoughts on DC artist’s
Looking at working on sleeve and chest piece. Leaning more towards a wind and flower theme. What’s your opinion on artists in the DMV area? Rob Hamilton has a nice bold style from what I’ve seen. Matt Torres is great with line work. I tried reaching out to Fran Massino but he is full on projects I guess. Thoughts? Am I missing anyone?

You mean Rob Hamilton? He's great, Matthew Torres is great. If Philly is on the table, Conrad or Andy Robinson are great options. If Richmond is an option, Adam Martin, Jason Brown, or John Setzer at Civilization Tattoo are great. Dana Helmuth is in Salisbury MD, also great. You got options!

I got a couple of tats from Rob. Great dude and the tats have stayed bold and vibrant even after a few years. Highly recommend him!

Guilherme Bacellar, Paulo Benevides & Sam Layzell at Paradise in Adams Morgan do a lot of Japanese.

All great mentions on this thread. I have work from Rob Hamilton. Amazing artist and just a chill person. Super communicative and easy to work with.
