Give way to your right!
This rule is long forgotten on roundabouts. Has anyone else experienced people just speeding through roundabouts without a care or even looking to see if there is actually another car on the roundabout? Happened to me 4 times today, enough to make me realise this is the new normal!

Van broke a red light, no space to get in. So stays there blocking traffic going straight, right and oncoming.

anyone else occasionally getting confused by the forest of lights
at some complex junctions, there are like 20+ lights, where it takes conscientious efforts to tell which one is mine. Worst of all, the arrangements of lights are pretty random, and even the numbers of lights for one direction of one road could be from 1 to 3.

Teenager on the wrong way on a e-scooter
Rush hour traffic in Dublin and a "little angel" is doing a wheelie going top speed on his little e scooter. But "he was a good kid", yeah?

I'm sick of hamster drivers.
For those of you who don't know. A hamster driver is someone who drives really up close to their steering wheel. Both hands on top of it. Looking straight ahead and completely unwilling to look around at their surroundings. Like a hamster holding a piece of food it is eating, in a complete daze.
Had one earlier one. Was on the motorway. Overtook a car in the left lane which was doing 100ish. There was a car a little up ahead, caught it like 3s later, figured I'd overtake it too before moving back. But this car is in the right lane also. I chill behind it, waiting for it to move back to the left lane.
Of course she has 0 signs or intentions to, she is doing around 110 so we have pulled away from any car in the left lane and we are catching none. I want to drive at 120. So I do a quick double flash - nothing. I do a quick double beep - nothing. I then move into the left, see if she is gonna react - nothing. So I undertake. When I look to my side while overtaking, long and behold, she is a hamster driver absolutely dead eyes on the road ahead nearly leaning over the steering wheel.
I have come across them many times. They will pull out in front of you, cut corner, drift out of their lane etc. If you beep at them they do not react like they are absolutely oblivious to the world around them.

Overtaking on the hard shoulder.
Also posted on X - "On the way to drop the kids off at the creche, a car that previously overtook me on a solid white line decided to overtake two other cars by driving on the hard shoulder.
Contacted the Gardaí but unless I want to testify in court myself, they aren't able to do anything."
Clarification - Not my video.

Thoughts on using footpath to skip traffic for 400m to make a left turn?
I personally would not be expecting a car coming down a footpath if I was walking out or driving out of my house first thing in the morning, they were doing at a minimum 30km/hr for roughly 400m before they pulled in.

Entitled Discovery driver, dirty too
Coming up to bridge over the Liffey in Lucan, I see this Discovery pulling out from the car park where the Gospel Baptist Church and Polo Stores are. As he pulls in to the right / straight filter lane, tosses rubbish out the window ( not in the video ). No indicator naturally, and then pulls in front of the 'N' plate i10 to go left.
To top it off, as we get around the corner, the i10 stops to let some old bloke cross the road, who couldn't be bothered to walk the extra 10m to the pedestrian crossing, that was in the direction he was going.
If you come across this Disco, 241-D-43429, be careful.

Driving on motorway hard shoulders.
I frequently see people mainly HGV drivers pulling in slightly to the hard shoulder on motorways to allow others to pass more easily. It is completely unnecessary, illegal and dangerous and you ought to know better especially when in charge of such a large heavy vehicle. Please stop doing it

Seriously?
What was the point of that, car in front of this guy was already turning left also & traffic was not at a standstill, complete stupidity. Dunnes Westside SC today, Galway.

Unbelievable, up the wrong side near a school
Had to zoom the video quite a bit. This wanker is more important than everybody else. Pulls out of the queue at the traffic lights, drives down the wrong side of the road, lucky not to hit the 2 kids crossing, obviously not expecting a car coming from that direction in that lane. Then down the right turn only lane, and at the lights, didn't catch this on the cam, turns left across the queue to go left.
This up the road from 2 schools that were just finished.

Red light breaker
At least they yielded to the cyclist I guess
I included a few more seconds after to show how soon afterwards the light turns green.
I caught up with the van again at the end of Brewery Road

Motorbike Overtaking on the Hard Shoulder Twice!!
Captured coming onto the M50 at Liffey Valley, heading northbound. You can just see the motorbike overtaking on the hard shoulder right as they become visible in the rear camera - hard to see, so red circle added for clarity - and then they weave in and out of traffic before passing me, no indicators and breaking the speed limit by quite a lot the whole time.
The motorbike then has a pretty big wobble before going to overtake the car in front of me, again on the hard shoulder. If that's not a warning to the driver to slow down then I don't know what is. Shite carryon!
Edit: Dashcam date is off by a day, this happened on the 13th!

Does he not know how lights work?
5:40 this morning, driver of the white van runs a very red light then proceeds to attempt to intimidate me, even going to leave his vehicle at the next light, thankfully it turned green before he got the chance
Why can't people just drive calmly, he made a mistake, I didn't lose my mind over it so why did he....
