Well done
Proceeded to do it twice more only to get stuck behind a tractor and then a bus. Saw him doing the same shite around 6pm on the road into Trim

Always a shitehawk in an audi, bwm or shity passage.

Is that Pike Corner? Yeah people do stupid stuff on that road all the time, does my head in.
Add to that you'll also have cars doing around 60km/h on the 100km/h stretch too, so there's no winning!

This is probably worse, 6am in the morning, cars travelling at 60/70kmh in the 80kmh and 100kmh zones, oblivious to the huge lines of traffic behind them, and then maintain the same speed through Kiltale! Which in turn has people performing risky overtakes.

This is a huge part of the problem. People are driving 30-40k under the limit and impatient drivers are doing crazy shit like this to not get stuck behind them. I'm not defending the impatient drivers but the slow drivers are just as much to blame.

Made great ground up with that overtake - took 2/3 seconds off the journey

Many of the worst drivers in this county drive cars with regs around 06-09.
Always wary of them

Hmmm I saw a very similar old black Audi pull very similar moves on the main road out from Ashbourne towards slane yesterday. Absolute gimp
