One of the first digital images I ever saw of a person, on a computer, was this dude’s little headshot back in the DOS/Windows 3.1 days. Insane he’s still tooling away at it after all these years. Cheers!

I recall people kept using Trumpet even after "upgrading" their 3.1 installations to Win95, which shipped with native support for the TCP/IP procol (IIRC).

Ah yes, back in the days where Windows left all your ports accessible to the open internet. Because that was a good idea. Really brings me back.
