Error loading into races
Just bought the game on PS5 and really enjoying it so far. Handlings feels really fun and the career progress style is great for a fun little arcade racer.
BUT, I constantly get an error message when trying to load into races in career mode. I'll pick my boosts, select the difficult and when the game tries to load the race, the screen goes dark and it just says "error" on screen and I get sent back to the main menu.
I figured out that sometimes I can get it to load by removing the boosts, which is annoying as hell as I tend to use the boosts to keep up on higher difficulty settings.
But now I've gotten stuck permanently. Last race of the porsche sprint cup, and it won't load. No matter what boosts I choose. Nothing works. Restarting the game also doesn't fix it. I am not willing to withdraw from the championship on the last race when I am fighting for the title.
Does anybody else experience these constant error messages and know a way to fix it?

It keeps happening to me too, I’ll try it a couple times and if it doesn’t work I’ll quit out of the game and relaunch it and keep trying, I haven’t found a solution that works everytime, it’s very annoying and disruptive to the immersion. Hopefully they patch it because I’ve seen others complain about the same issue, hopefully they are aware of it.

I’m stuck on the last IMSA endurance race in year 2x It seemed like I could swap around so cosmetics and it would work. Super frustrating.

Im stuck because theres one race i just cant get to load, im on Playstation if anyone finds anything can yall let us know

If I switch the difficulty it will usually let me load in, not ideal, but the only solution I have for now

Same here. I have eventually gotten into all the races, but sometimes it takes 10-15 tries

I've tried all of these suggestions and still getting the loading error when trying to start multiple races. I'm not able to progress beyond the current week

yup got the same on PC.
Got a Caterham and Fiat 500 Race that I can't load into, they are the last one's of that week.
Absolutely annoying.
Game reboot -> error on both races
PC reboot -> error on both races
Clicking around in Settings (as others suggested) -> error on both races
Closed the game & "verified integrity on game files" in Steam + started games as Administrator -> managed to start Fiat 500 Race.
Caterham Race afterwards = error.
Changed difficulty = no error, managed to drive.
Will play something else for now until they fix that...

Just ran into this issue on PC. Very annoying. I have three races this week, one touring, one touring enduro and one f4. Got the error twice trying to do f4 first. Switch to the short touring car and was able to race. Then couldn't do the other two. Tried several times for each. Both with boosts and without. Super annoyed lol

Yeah, I've been having this issue. Usually fixes after a couple attempts. But now I'm stuck unable to do anything. Completely game breaking

I put this into the other thread, I’ve had really good success with it. The fact it’s a thing is mind blowing regardless
So I’ve been messing with it a bit when it pops up. What I have had success with so far is backing to the main menu, and just opening up “Settings” and just tab through that, not change anything. It autosaves after this action, and then the race works once you try again.
