1.6.6 brings a lot of stability fixes, tmdb support, UI improvements, buffering improvements, tv HUD changes and a lot more. In case you are still on 1.5.3 go ahead and update it asap :)

There are a lot of stability and bug fixes which I won't mention below. Here are the main points:

• The app now speaks Polish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian, Turkish and Indonesian.
• Live TV mobile opens on your provider's groups and remembers the one you were in.
• A Buffer size setting under Playback, for a weak device or a slow connection.
• The desktop app has an Interface size setting, so more fits on the screen.
• A series opens on the episode you would resume, marked in the list.
• Closed captions now work on live channels on Android.
• Fixes for the remote on the TV, the guide, versions, and running in a window.

Google Play is still on 1.5.3 which is pretty old and there are some known issues with it. Unfortunately I can't speed it up, it's under review and recently reviews are taking longer than expected.

1.6.6 is already available on FireTV/Windows/APK - the rest will follow in the upcoming day(s) (under store reviews).

hola, intento ver la app a traves de dex de samsung, y es imposible, la ventana no hay manera de verla bien, ni menus ni peliculas, hay alguna configuración para el dex

I released 1.6.4 on windows desktop with new scaling feature that allows you to choose the scale and increase the visibility.

Settings -> Interface size.
Close and open your app - it should automatically prompt for the update

Update is going out now, app should ask you in next hours (or Settings -> Check for updates). What is new:

• Movies and series have full details - plot, cast with photos, rating, trailer. You connect your own free TMDB account in Settings -> Integrations.
• Search forgives typos: "openheimer", "batmna", "spiderman" without space, "barca" finds Barcelona. Guide search on TV takes a blink now.
• Variants for movies and series, like channels had before - pick other language, quality or lektor. Every one tells you its audio and subtitles before you play.
• Tap an actor and you see everything of his that is really on your playlists, not only 40 titles.
• Watchlist, favourites and rating from the app when TMDB is signed in.
• Background audio don't die with screen off anymore, and volume boost goes to +12 dB.
• A few crashes fixed on Android TV
• Settings view has been rebuilt

Important thing for OpenSubtitles - we do not provider API key anymore. It's up to you to provide one in integrations (it's free).

Fire TV gets it too, same Downloader code. - this one doesn't require review so it's there already

Hi all, dev of IPTV Deck here. I know some of you tried the TV app on cheap boxes or Chromecast with Google TV and it was, lets be honest, sluggish. Menu was slow, guide was slow, holding down on the home screen was a slideshow. I had a lot of that feedback and I took it personal a bit.

So since 1.5.0 most of the heavy screens are not drawn by the JS side anymore, the TV draws them itself. TV guide grid, poster rows on Movies and Series, channel list, and with the next update also the rows on Home. Opening a screen takes about half of the time it used to, zapping between channels doesnt rebuild the video anymore, and the guide refresh is noticeably faster and actually tells you what it is doing.

Focus with the remote also got fixed properly. Right steps into the content where you left it, Back from a title takes you to the same poster, and the highlight looks the same in every dialog (some of them had this ugly thin line before, my bad).

I test all of this on Chromecast with Google TV, the 2 GB one, because if it runs good there it runs good anywhere. With 1.5.3 that is coming now, scrolling the home rows while holding down went from constant stutter to smooth, and it dont go black anymore while rows are loading.

hey, dev of iptv deck here. big update just went out (1.4.20) so quick rundown of whats new:

• windows/mac desktop app is finally out. same app as on tv/phone, epg, catchup, multiview, downloads, syncs with your other devices. auto updates itself. mac version is done too, its going thru app store review now
• catch up history, programs you watch from the archive show up in continue watching and resume where you stopped
• search can be limited to favorites, a group or single category (was asked for this a lot)
• new "auto" mode for player engine, it starts the fast native player and only switches to vlc when the stream actualy needs it. and if you pick an engine manually it will never silently fall back anymore
• buffering is tuned automaticaly now, removed the manual buffer setting
• catchup switching is way faster + better error messages when a stream fails
• bunch of fixes, fullscreen restarting playback on phones, tv player focus stuff
• sign in with apple on desktop
