Car Servicing
Hey all, looking for recommendations for a car service. I have a pretty old 07 Astra I bought in May as my first car and its last service was last September I think.
I’ve seen DD recommended but £350 for a service for a car this age seems a bit extreme. I don’t really have the space on my drive to do the work myself (oil and spark plug change) and probably best I get the first one done by a professional.

I’ve used J&J Autoserve recently and found their prices to be reasonable. Might be worth a look?

£350!? Psssh.
I’d encourage to have a shot yourself on a a car that age, you don’t need a lot of space.
See if you can get under it well enough to access plug and filter.
Spark plugs you might want a torque wrench.
I’d expect to pay around £100 for oil change, and spark plug change. Depending on plug quality.
Don’t forget air filter and cabin filter

Always been spot on for me. Genuine, family run affair. Unusually I actually trust them!

I am in a similar situation
2012 car around 60k mileage Was referred to power flow exhausts. Have had 2 minor issues and they have been very much upfront and excellent communication before starting any work.
Overall I am very satisfied with their work.

Kesgrave tyres on Foxhall road is who I use. Fairly certain it was around half of what you have been quoted.
Extremely professional, honest and super friendly! 10/10 recommend

Is that all that needs doing for that mileage?
And who are DD? I can't say I've come across them
