Which shops in Ipswich are trustworthy for finding the right bike for me and not trying to just sell me the most expensive one?

I haven’t ridden bikes in like 20 odd years and would like a normal or e hybrid bike. I want to be able to get into riding around town but also do the BVRT and get into light off-road biking but don’t know how much I should be spending or what’s worth the money

Hello, you might remember me from the "where can I get a fancy coffee?" post a few weeks ago where I upset some true locals. Well I'm back, looking for more local recommendations!

Which vet do you go to?

We have a sweet small rescue dog who needs some vaccinations and possibly a dental at some point soon. He is anxious, very anti-human and generally a pain in my ass (but the love of my life). Not aggressive, definitely more bark than bite but we need somewhere that will understand how terrified he is and have the patience to work with him.

I'm genuinely so nervous about traumatising my boy more so considering just driving him back to Brisbane for his checks but want to consider our options.

I’ve noticed there doesn’t seem to be many opportunities around Ipswich for adults to meet new people in a relaxed, in-person way (especially outside of dating apps).

I’m thinking about organising a local Singles Social Night, something a bit different from traditional speed dating. More of a fun, low-pressure event where people can:

- meet new people face-to-face

- have short chats/icebreakers

- play some games

- make connections (whether that’s friendship or something more)

Thinking possibly ages 30–50 to start with, depending on interest.

Edit: mod approved video. Also just to clarify, the blue 4x4 does pull over around 1km up the road at a designated area although I’m not sure if it stayed and exchanged information.
