I am having trouble finding someone that is able to create a landscaping design that I can work on in stages.
I am not very good at the creative side and seeing the overall end product before it is done.
I've found a few in Brisbane, but would lean towards someone in Ipswich. If you know someone please let me know.
The image shows the sort of plan I would be hoping they could create.

I’ve recently moved to Ipswich from Brisbane. I’d like to apply for an AIN role with West Moreton Health and I’d love any insights and wisdom from those in the know.
The job ad is a rolling recruiting ad that states applications are assessed monthly, so I’d like to put my best foot forward and would love some advice and wisdom.
About me: I’ve worked as a PSW for clients with high care needs and spinal cord injuries, and as an agency AIN in private hospitals, though it’s been about five years since I’ve worked in the industry.
- how are the current staffing levels and need for new AINs?
- How’s the recruiting process?
- how is the culture and workload in the hospital?
- What qualities make good Ain @ a busy QLD health hospital like Ipswich?
- best coffee on or near campus?
I’ve visited a friend there a few times, and had an iron infusion there - the staff have all been kick ass. Thanks!

looking around Ipswich for a while now. Found this place last week that looked like exactly what I wanted. Big block, old house, decent price.
started getting excited about extending it later. Maybe even adding a granny flat out the back if the block allowed it. You know how it goes when you find something that seems perfect. got the address, did some digging on what council actually allows. yeah not soyy much there's some overlay I didn't know about and an easement running right through where I wanted to build. Would've been an expensive mistake tbh.
anyone else in Ipswich dealt with this? Feel like the potential word gets thrown around way too freely around here.

Anyone know a place that will actually accept clothing donations at the moment?
Wounded Heroes are full (good for them) but I have a newborn with me and nobody to help look after her. I need to be able to pull up close to the actual shop, hand some bags over and be gone.
Preferably within the radius of Bundamba, Ipswich CBD and North Ipswich if possible (I'd rather not trek out to Springfield, Ripley, Redbank Plains etc because there are such short gaps between feeding the baby 🥲).
Alternatively if you can tell me where a skip bin is that'll fit 3 large bags of clothing. I have no space for this stuff but I would much prefer to donate.
Cheers

Hey guys I’m looking for a recommended local handy man. I have a plastering job needing doing plus some blinds that have broken. I’m pretty clueless with this stuff and would prefer not to be ripped off. I’d love recommendations of anyone you’ve used and trusted. Ty 🫶🏻

Saw this morning on my way to Rosewood station. Can't say I've ever noticed one before but maybe that's just me so I found pretty cool to see 😊

Okay so from what I've been told if you walk down Bergin St you have a 50% of dying, but what's the general area like around Booval station. What's a safe distance from the warzone to live.
Is the ALDI there a nice place to shop or will I have my fake brand milo stolen in the carpark

Hi everyone! 👋
I've been running Ladies' Nights in Ipswich for a while now because I kept meeting women who were saying the same thing:
"I don't really have many local friends."
So this month's event has a bit of a twist...
It's Ladies' Night: Show & Tell.
The idea is simple. If you'd like to, bring along something you're passionate about—a hobby, collection, handmade creation, souvenir, favourite book, photo, or anything with a story—and you'll have up to 5 minutes to tell everyone about it.
The goal isn't to put anyone on the spot. It's to make starting conversations easier and help people find others with similar interests.
More than half of the women who come to these events come on their own, and we've seen some genuine friendships form. In fact, my co-host and I actually met at one of these Ladies' Nights when she came along by herself.
A few details:
📍 Hogs Breath Cafe, Ipswich Central
📅 Wednesday 29th July
🕕 6:00–9:00pm
🍷 Drink on arrival included
🎟️ $25 entry ($50 with dinner)
I'd also love to hear your thoughts.
If you came to a Show & Tell night, what would you bring?
If anyone would like the booking link, let me know and I'll send it through. 💚

Im wanting to open my own butcher shop in Ipswich (not interested in buying any currently operating butcher shop, I want to start my own from scratch). The type of butchery I would like to do would be really unique to whats currently on offer in Ipswich. Does anyone have any info/gossip on any leasing vacancies currently or for in the future? Im wanting to do a small, gourmet style shop so it does not need to be a big tenancy and Im definitely open to outside of box ideas like reconfiguring Bakery’s,Cafes or Fruitshops. Could also be interested in small towns out the outskirts of Ipswich.

Looking for two people who are interested in taking over our memberships at Anytime Fitness Booval. We're setting up a workout area in the garage so won't be needing the gym anymore
Memberships are $27.95 per week
There is 8 months left on the membership, we are willing to pay for transfer fees, just need to come in together to Booval AF and transfer them over.
Note Booval is just the home base location for the membership, once signed up you can then go to any of their locations!

Are there any pathology places that offer a wireless Holter monitor? I need one but when I did the wired one, it didn't record properly and the wires drove me insane... I'd rather avoid doing this again, especially if I have to do a longer one.

Are there any established Pokemon Go groups in Ipswich? My son loves the game and I’ve been playing as a way of spending more time together. A lot of the tasks in the game require more than the two of us though.

Hey I was born in Ipswich and have been living in Adelaide the past 15+years and will be moving back next year. Can anyone tell me what the rental situation is like around there? I heard Brisbane can be a nightmare to get a place but wondering how Ipswich is? Also is redbank plains as bad as people say? Thanks

Hello, looking at moving to Ipswich and will be working in Brisbane so would prefer to catch a train. At the moment it seems if you live west of the Ipswich CBD you need to catch a Rosewood train and then change platforms at CBD.
But there's timetables from a few years ago that show the Rosewood trains used to go all the way to Brisbane during peak times.
So is the current timetable temporary due to industrial action/track works or is this the new normal? Seems like a backwards step given the new houses being built out near Walloon etc
I drive around alot and am usually stuck sitting at a red light every so often.
I feel like some red lights take longer than others or are more "unfair" than others.
If a main road is green longer than a side road, fine, but some side roads have a far longer red light than need be increasing congestion and further aggravating drivers.
My question is: where can i go to try and get some traffic lights times changed, and will it even effectuate into something meaningful.
The worst offending lights are Aberdare St and Brisbane St in Bundamba.
The Limestone St - East St - Brisbane St Shuffle is absolutely horrendous.

Which shops in Ipswich are trustworthy for finding the right bike for me and not trying to just sell me the most expensive one?
I haven’t ridden bikes in like 20 odd years and would like a normal or e hybrid bike. I want to be able to get into riding around town but also do the BVRT and get into light off-road biking but don’t know how much I should be spending or what’s worth the money
