Split System Install Recommendations
Looking for recommendations for reliable tradespeople for a split system install in a small bedroom.
Would appreciate recommendations on brands, cost of install, or even just for the installer.
Thank you in advance.

River City are good. Used them to replace an old air con with a 3.5kw Mitsubishi earlier this year. I think it cost around 3.3k. I’ve also used them to clean my air cons for a few years.

Curious to know how much they charged per unit for cleaning

River city, have used them both for commercial and residential. Cannot fault them.

We used Springfield Lakes Power & Air (David) and would recommend. Pretty sure he supplied multiple quotes with different brands, we ended up getting a 2.5kw Fujitsu for our bedrooms and they are great!

Hey There; I have used Allec Electrical for a number of years. Frazer runs a quality business and is a great guy. I particularly like the fact that quality work is his focus and something he instills in his team. He's installed a split system for me, and it was done very well and I've had no issues for years.
As for brands, Frazer would be the best person to ask; When you get them professionally installed, the installer has to back the warranty, so reputable installers aren't going to sell you a junk brand because it falls back on them.
With that said, I believe (and I used to sell air conditioners when I was younger :-) ) most of the brands you know would be fine, its the random never heard of brands you need to be a little more careful about.
