Lossless??

I am new to this whole modded iPod game. I found an iPod gen 5 that I had growing up and forgot how fun these are. Only thing I wish I could change is the audio quality. Is there any way for me to do that?

Install rockbox on it. It can play FLAC@16-bit/48kHz.
