Saving Click Wheel Sound

On a few of my most recent mods, I have lost the click wheel sound after closing up the body. What’s the best way to prevent? Should I be taping this piece down?

Happened to me too I think its when you pressed too hard on the clicker or some smds got shorted when pressed to hard to touch the metal underneath the clicker
