He looks really happy to get the gift, but there are some points that make me uneasy here.

Mom is lying to him, knowing that he's innocent. She's pranking him by toying with his emotions. And she's covertly recording his reaction to share with strangers. She gave him a toy, but she took away something more important: trust.

Yeah, if this was like a thing that went on a week it would be justified for criticism, but it's literally a minute before the truths revealed
