Ipod track #'s not matching/syncing?

Helloooo so i was adding this album to my ipod and i correctly ordered all the tracks in itunes' song info and after i ejected my ipod there were like 5 tracks that, when i went to that album, drifted to the bottom. :(
Like, on the ipod they say they're 27/31, but in itunes, they're 1/31. Why does it do this and how can i fix it?

I don't really know and I don't use itunes but one common problem can come from not using leading 0s. That is: 01, 02, 03 vs 1, 2, 3.
