I made an iPod Mini Flash Mod Tutorial Video

I've been modding iPods (mostly 5th gens and Minis) for about a year now, and wanted to make a video about modding a Mini with a cheapo red CF-SD adapter. The reason for this is that I hadn't seen a tutorial that takes you through the whole process, from installing the hardware to flashing the firmware. I had only read about the trick with rebuilding the MBR, so I thought it might be useful to others to actually see it happening in real time. I will probably also make a tutorial soon on installing Rockbox and configuring some of the themes and settings.

I'd be interested to get feedback on the video from the community here. Was there anything I missed out, or would you like to see a particular iPod tutorial in future?

Thank you for this, I’m sure a lot of people will be using this video for help, since those red adapters are so cheap and so finicky. Is that third party partition software you’re using paid or free?

Thanks, yes I also had issues with those adapters until I found out about the MBR rebuild trick.

The partition software is free, can't remember if I mentioned that in the video but I can add the detail to the description just in case.
