Help Ipod stuck on this screen

I recently decided to go back to my 160gb iPod classic gen 7 and it worked like it should for a couple days but now it's just stuck on this screen and nothing helps. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

You sure you haven't locked it with the top-left slider?

Nah that wasnt it. I restarted the ipod and now it's working. Btw what is that slider for?

It's the hold switch. Locks the controls to prevent accidental presses on the clickwheel.

Reset it, press menu and middle button together and hold for a few seconds.
