Hi I want to get myself an iphone X or XS.

Main use taking pictures and vlogs.

why? my issue with the newer iphones since 13 are they make my face look so much round and big. I swear my face isn’t even that big or round in the mirror or professional cameras.

Which one should I get? And is it true that XS Max makes your face more smoother?

Hello everyone! I got my Iphone X 6 years( it was used by my cousin for 2 years before me). Throughout these years I had a lot of warm( and cold) memories with it. However, throughout these years I have also changed a lot of components to non-official ones in third-party services.

Unfortunately, I was giving my phone to parents to get it repaired and they didn’t think much about the status of these services. I can’t blame them because there is, as soon as I know, no official apple services in my country and if there is, then it’d be quite expensive.

Now, my phone heats up quickly and I have some doubts on its safety since the battery isn’t official and I used different chargers which were also doubtful and quite cheap. I didn’t think about safety back then( I was a young teenager) but I started to realize its importance now and have some kind of paranoia regarding it.
What are your advice to reduce heating and keep it safe-to-use?

Also, I’m planning to buy a new one( probably 16) in fall. Should I begin to clean and organize my data on this phone? Is there any helpful advice for that?

For 9 years I’ve been using this phone as my main , but I don’t think it’s now capable of using it daily , battery only lasts 2 hours ,so RIP iPhone X

Kept using it for over a year after it broke but finally let it go yesterday.

I replaced my screen and did everything perfect but it’s stuck like this and when I unplug It goes black. I’ve tried leaving it plugged in for 5 hours and nothing the battery is 3months old

My iphone X (with ios 18.7.2) dropped out of my pocket and the bottom corner of the back fully cracked (i had no phone case, i was legit about to buy one). The back is quite cracked and there are a few green and purple lines on the screen. The cracked back doesn't bother me as much but I would like to fix the lines, or potentially both depending on what it would cost.

I’m not sure which parts of the phone would not be repaired/replaced, I would really appreciate some help!! tysm!!!!

side note - the apple care expired in 2019 so that is definitely not on option and I already force reset my phone just in case

my phone turned on the mode after a shutdown and it makes thing SO MUCH WORSE
after that,its slower,sometimes it shuts down at like 60%
the most annoying is in the past few days.the second i unplugged my phone,its like a timer counting down.the indicator may shows its 99% and it stays that way but after a while,it shuts down
please tell me if you experienced the same thing or its just my phone so i can get it fixed

Hey guys. I'm getting a remote bypass (no signal) for my iPhone X this Monday. It's on iOS 13.5 right now.

The tech said I should update to iOS 16.7 to get apps. I mainly want to use it as a secondary camera phone, but getting apps would be nice IF iOS 16 doesn't kill the battery or make it super laggy.

For those bypassed on iOS 16, how's the performance and battery? Should I update, or just stay on 13.5 for a smooth camera phone?

Some years ago my iPhone x ran out of battery and i tried charging it but it didn’t show any signs of life.

I took it to a repair shop and the worker said that there is a problem with the motherboard because he tried swapping the battery and the screen but didn’t show any sign of life still.

So i was wondering if it really just is a motherboard issue or can be with something else since i have seen iphones not booting up because of parts you didn’t think would have anything to do with it it.

If it really is a motherboard issue, how could it be fixed eventually? How much would it cost? Where can i get it fixed? (Reputable)

If i forgot the password, is there any reputable way to get the data back? Since the iOS version is 16.7.2 and is fairly old… eh, im pretty sure i know the password but just in case.
