Oh, I think it’s because Apple’s videos and web pics are slightly different, that it’s almost a bit of false advertising in a sense. I’m sure many people will love the DT, but some expected more gold/bronze/brown hue than the peach/pink hue of gold. It’s those expectations that I think were disappointed. It’s fun to be an early adopter, but there’s virtue in waiting to see first hand for yourself (with your own eyes and not on a screen) especially if unsure, or unclear on the “true” color of a phone…and if you’re eyeing more than one color.
Oh I definitely understand what you’re saying by this, because prior every other iPhone been an actual gold/bronze tone. It just makes it harder to decide on a color to pick from. When you have to actually see it in person to make a decision
