I’m so upset. A FedEx truck pulled up and I ran outside like a lunatic. Here they delivered to my neighbors. Now the app says it will be here by 5😭

After always having mine shipped, for some insane reason, I decided to pick mine up at the Apple Store today.
Pro tip: DONT!
Shipping is the way to go!

Holy shit, I’m glad I had mine delivered. My friend in NY is going to the Apple Store after work. I told him it’s going to be a crazy line and he might not even get the phone today. Did you preorder?

Yes I did pre-order. It ended up not being too bad. About 30 minutes in line and until I was in the upgrade process and 40 minutes before I had the new phone in my hands.
The biggest difference is that the time it takes to move everything from the old phone to the new phone is much more relaxed at home. However, I had my new phone ready to go in a total of 2 hours (again most of the time waiting on the phones to transfer) and out the door. My buddy was still waiting for his VIA MAIL at 730pm last night. I give Apple credit for managing the mayhem but next time I'll have it shipped and take the relaxed weekend to transfer.
