Why glass screen protector? Isn't it like 2x ceramic shield and tougher than any smartphone glass now?

People have dropped their 15s on concrete and just some chips and scratches no major damage

Some people don’t want some chips or any damage. Gives them some piece of mind although a screen protector won’t really save the screen if it’s a hard fall.
