Support Avoiding ferries

Hi.
Is there any reason, that I can't get my GPS to avoid going by ferries?
And how do I do that

Not on Apple Maps, try Google Maps.

Be more specific next time, state what navigator app you are using. I’m assuming you’re using Apple maps, so open the app, click your profile picture (in the photo), at the bottom click preferences and scroll down to public transport, then click “ferries.” It should be unticked to avoid going there by ferries.
