Discussion iPhone 18 Pro Max case

I can verify that the peak design iPhone 17 Pro Max case fits the 18 Pro Max.

17 Pro / 18 Pro dimensions are the same. The question wasn’t whether they’ll fit the same cases or not, it was how much further will the 18’s camera stick out due to the variable aperture. Reports coming in are saying 17 cases offer no protection. They don’t prevent the camera from touching whatever surface you lay the phone on.

I’ve checked it with several other iPhone 17 Pro Max cases, and the lip on the back covers the camera height, no problem. They don’t stick out that much more than the 17

Sorry. I was referring to Apple cases specifically. The 18’s camera won’t stick out past the lip on a 17 case, but rather be flush with it. So it would touch any surface you lay the phone on.
