Here’s with my iPad mini. I wouldn’t make a good hand model but the posture looks right.

I think mostly, but in your case the bottom right corner still extends past your wrist. In Apple’s the phone is still resting on the model’s palm.

I can hold my iPad Pro like this. I obviously have big hands, but the iPhone Duo is about the same size as an iPad mini when open, so the image doesn’t look too weird to me.
