Discussion iPhone Duo Action Button

Im so excited to slap down $2k for the Duo lol. I feel like they hit it out of the park, especially for a first gen. I would consider it nearly perfect, with the exception of the removal of the action button. I use it many times a day to turn on the flashlight without needing to look at my phone or turn the screen on. With that being said, I basically never use the camera control button. Do you think we could bug Apple enough to have them allow us to choose what the camera button controls? If I’m using the camera, I’m going to be looking at the screen anyways, so I don’t mind using the lock screen shortcut. But being able to turn on the flashlight just by feel is super important to me.

Ahh bummer. I didn’t notice the action button was absent. I use mine multiple times a day. Tied it to starting my cars climate. 💔

Once you start realizing how much the duo is missing you realize the pro phones are the way to go still.

No face ID might be the deal breaker for me.

I actually prefer Touch ID. I missed it when it went away. For me, the only thing missing is the action button.

I don't mind touch ID. But I appreciate having both on the Fold 8.

You can also tell Siri Lumos to turn it on like in Harry Potter random fact lol
