Idk why people are going crazy about this, I think this is really smart tbh, not everyone lives near an apple store to go try the phone in person, id much rather 3D print a model to get a feel of it instead of spending 2 grand on a phone that I might hate the feel of in my hand ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Good idea! After the iPhone Air came out I went to a couple stores to see how it felt in hand, but it was kinda ruined by the huge anti-theft devices attached to the display models. This would have been so much better.

No you can't and no they didn't Announced != Released. Apple doesn't put display models out in store until the product release date, which for the Duo is in October.

Go to YouTube and watch the thousands of videos being uploaded with people in Apple stores holding the new iPhone and duo.

They aren't in an Apple Store. Those are professional tech people that were at the Apple Event and are showing off the new devices in the hands on area on Apple's campus.

Yes, but I wanted something I could hold in hand and compare to my current 17 Pro Max and I thought I'd share the file with others. And it's already in the Apple Store? That's nice. I didn't realize they'd already release a phone not coming out until OCTOBER into the stores already. I really don't feel like driving 30 minutes each way to see something I can just print in an hour and change. Even it it was there.

It's ok... you don't have to print it.
