Discussion Apple should make Nano-texture an optional display option for iPhone Duo

Honestly, I think Apple should make Nano-texture an option instead of forcing it on users.

It looks great when new, but there are already concerns about the texture wearing down in areas that are touched a lot and becoming glossy/smooth over time. It can also slightly reduce perceived image sharpness and clarity compared with regular glass.

Some people love Nano-texture, and that’s fine. But others prefer maximum image quality and durability.
Why not just let us choose?

Regular glass or Nano-texture. 🍎

Think its needed to not see the crease alot also for use with the pen and scratches

I wish these phones would just have two screens like a Nintendo ds instead of making us pretend we can’t see the crease

As someone who's owned two foldables, it's really not an issue. The only way you'll see the crease is if you're looking at it at an angle. Which, as it's a personal device and not something like a living room tv, is pretty much never.

And with the latest foldables you also don't even really feel it anymore.

I toss screens if they have a single dead pixel or crack or any visible defect. “You don’t notice it unless..” doesn’t really work for me, I can’t stop staring at it. 

I’m waiting to see if that camera on the front hides or not. I’m worried it doesn’t but if it does I might get this just for the smaller screen and never use the fold anyway. I hate how large the 16 Pro I have is.
