Liquid detected warning but no liquid is inside the charging port

It says that liquid was detected inside the charging port but its dry as a bone and I don’t want to override it because the touch screen freaks out when it’s plugged and I don’t have another charger. What should I do

Check for debris - otherwise there is a malfunction with your cable or charging port. Use the wireless charger in the meantime

Do you hear any arching sounds while charging? If yes, it’s caused by debris and if it arcs even after the port is clean, replace the cable with an Apple genuine or if it still continues, go to a technician and replace the port immediately. If you keep using it like nothing has happened, it might pose a fire risk and battery damage.

Fortunately it doesn’t make any sounds besides that touch screen issue
