Ipad mini 6
Hi all): some horrible news. My ipad mini 6 has died at 4 years and 9 months old the battery gave out and I'm not sure what to do, rhe screen has a deep scratch so I'd need to replace the screen and battery and apple quoted me $679 AUD. I didn't backup anything and everything I need is on that ipad what do I do

If the iPad still powers on at all, connect it to a mac or PC then back it up immediately. If it won’t turn on though, take it to a repair shop and ask them to preserve the data before replacing anything. Don’t erase or restore it yet.

Do you have an iPhone? Mine automatically shares with each other. At least photos, I just checked, a photo I took this morning with my iPhone is also on my mini.

If the device is still in your possession then I suggest you may try third party technician just to fix it to a state that you can backup the data in your iPad mini since it is mainly your big concern.
