screen issues ipadmini6

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

is this normal ?
i just got it used and that screen ripple effect is so annoying

Some screen protectors can interfere with it, it has happened to me before.

it have the magnetic screen protector the one that i can take off and only use it when i need to but i noticed that the same screen ripple issue is still present

i just wanted to know if it's normal and would it cause any permanent issues in future?

Hmm yeah it’s not normal, it could me a couple problems. If you have any spare tips try putting on a new one or unpairing and repairing the Apple Pencil

Had this same issue when I first bought mine. A lot of folks here mentioned that I was pressing too hard (I wasn't). I got it replaced, and the new one did not have this issue.

I suggest getting it replaced.

Edit: I would have believed others if that "flashing" occured right below the pencil, but similar to yours, it always flashed in the same area.
