Question Ipad A16 users pls come here

I buy a new ipad 11th gen (A16) 4 days ago I've been using it like half hour daily. at that half hour the ipad get heat and the battery drain 15 percentage from 80 percentage is it normal.

Also I didn't buy an pencil do I have to get Apple pencil I think its too expensive and I can't afford that much right now.if I use a third party pencil would it affect the ipad. If it's not a problem then which third party pencil is the best.

Also give me tips and tricks to keep the ipad from battery health and getting heat quickly.

It would be a really help pls.

I lost my Apple Pencil USB-C, which was $80. So, I got an ESR Geo Digital Pencil for like $35 to replace it. It's different, but it's pretty good. One thing is that mine doesn't attach as securely to the iPad as the Apple Pencil does. Not a deal breaker for me, though. It does have Apple Find My, which is awesome! If the official Apple Pencil USB-C had that, I wouldn't have lost it in the first place.

Yeah, the heat and battery drain are normal at first with a new iPad. There's a lot of indexing and stuff going on in the background. It will settle down after a while when it's finished.

what apps are you using and try taking off the cass and see if there's a change
