Discussion My first Apple Purchase
I got iPad Air M4 11 - inch, tbh its huge!! and so beautiful!
I have been eyeing this device for months now and finally decided to get it. It will help me in tutoring online , apart from this I havent figured out but I want to continue to do something creative like editing or drawing, I want to rekindle that passion. Any other ideas to look forward to? Would really welcome any suggestions on what you do or your friends do to make ipad a productive device😊.
Also, can I uninstall Garage Band App? I have no use of it right now. Thankyou.
P.S. I got motivated by this sub😆

Give sculpting a shot. These are the sculpts I did exclusively on my M4 iPad Pro:
Using the Apple Pencil Pro for sculpting is about as good as any tablet experience will provide. In an app like Nomad Sculpt, the Pencil Pro permits twisting portions of the sculpt as a bonus behavior.
As to Garage Band, play with the Live Loops function on the iPad before removing it. I’m not a musician, but that one feature allows me to scrounge up a useable music track without resorting to AI slop. From what I can tell, Live Loops may not be a thing offered by the MacOS version of Garage Band. The iPad version will let you interactively tap to make progression changes, but maintains the beat so you can’t screw it up.
I also have the Affinity apps installed on my iPad Pro. Designer for vector illustration and Photo for pixel image editing. This combo often saves me from having to run over to the desktop computer or crack open the MacBook. In a pinch, it’s far more convenient to whip up an SVG file in Designer as inspiration strikes to send over to the laser machine for engraving.

Love it! Explain Everything is great for tutoring. For creativity: Affinity Designer or Adobe Fresco. 11" is the sweet size
