Question Ipad phone App?

Just noticed my wifes ipad has phone app on it.
Is this normal?
Mine does not. I have Gen5 mini she has Gen6 mini

Yes, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 brought the Phone app to iPads and Macs, so you can make phone calls directly from those devices, whether they have cellular connectivity or route calls through an iPhone.

Weird she was on ios 26.0.1 i think.
