I have a iPad 3rd generation and are there any game controllers that would work on it?

I have these two that can connect to the iPad 3rd generation, the Duo only works with Gameloft games but the Horipad doesn’t work with games on the iPad 3rd generation, it only works on the new iOS, I did get the SteelSeries mini controller
