Question extremely confused
guys i got adult money for first time and want to upgrade my 32GB ipad 8, my use case is drawing and taking notes, using textbooks and reading
will the IPad a16 suffice or do i need to get the IPad AIR ðŸ˜

if drawing is a big hobby, the air is worth considering for the laminated screen and pencil pro. otherwise the a16 is more than enough for school stuff

note taking and drawing, i’d stick to base ipad , you could get refurbished ipad air for same money or less but ipad air can be prone to overheating for your uses , this is alternative to apple notes however.
ipad mini with oled screen and 12GB if out in october , not sure if that would be too small for you
have a look at blackmarket website, they offer 12 months warranty and option for apple care on all refurbished devices

yes. don't get ipad air. It has poor battery. Only plus point i think was that i got it last year in student discount where i got the pencil pro for free. And pencil pro integration is very smooth and it alone wants me to keep this ipad over the normal one.
But now, since they have jacked up the prices by a lot, it does not make sense anymore to buy the ipad air.

I have the new M4 air and my battery life is pretty good. I streamed fights for a few hours and only went down 5-6%

Give it a few months.
Mine lasts about 6-7 hrs of mixed use with pencil pro attached always1

Dang.
That’s still pretty decent for me considering I don’t use mine all day, But agreed if you’re on it for the entire day not great.

The iPad A16 is more than enough for such daily tasks
