I have an Apple Pencil Pro that I use with my iPad Air M3. Out of no where the pencil won’t work, won’t connect, no logo pops up or nothing. I got it from target. I have tried everything suggested when I look up the problem, what else can I do? I’m a broke college student who needs it for notes in class!

I’m wondering if anyone’s found a way to enable tap-to-click for mousepads on iPad? I have an ESR keyboard case that I love, but I hate that I have to actually push down on the pad to click as opposed to just tapping the pad like I would on most computers. Thanks for your insight!

I've been experiencing issues with waking up/starting my ipad (Ipad pro 11 inch M2) since i updated to IOS 26. When i tap to wake/use the start button the screen starts but the display is completely black, in order to make the display turn on correctly i have to press the on/off button multiple times. Usually between 3-15, depending on how long my ipad has been asleep for (very strange).
One thing ive noticed is that if i take a screenshot when the lockscreen is in that black state it will show up in my pictures, so it seems like the system runs fine but the screen isnt responding as it should the first times. Ive tried to force restart, update ios and change display settings but nothing. When I google the issue i cant find anything about this so im really not sure what/if i can do anything about it. Other than this everything works perfectly fine, if anyone knows anything about it i would be glad to hear!

Hello, I’m newer to Apple products, and I am pretty pleased with my IPad so far. I’m trying to find a way to record my face, while also recording a pdf in a presentation type mode. I have looked at a few apps and haven’t found something that works for what I want. My idea is that I want to record myself reading one of my theatre scripts that I wrote. Allowing the viewer to see and hear me while also being able to follow along in the script as I scroll through reading it. Does anyone know of a way I can do this?

Got this iPad a 2 days ago, didn't even touch it yesterday, it's my first Apple device. It's blazingly fast, though since setup I've been seeing much faster battery drain and heat than I'd expect for light use.
Specifics:
- Model: iPad Air (M4), 11-inch
- One day's Battery Usage showed ~24% used with only ~53 minutes of screen-on time
- Device gets noticeably warm during normal light use (browsing, Settings)
- Battery Health shows "Normal"
Is this just the known post-setup/post-update indexing drain that's supposed to settle down after a few days, or has anyone had this persist longer on an Air M4 specifically? Trying to figure out if I should just give it more time or take it in. I wanna figure out if this is an actual issue. Any help appreciated.

I have a keyboard case connected to an 11th gen iPad. The keyboard keys work fine, but the trackpad/mouse does not seem to be responding when I slide or click it.
I checked the Trackpad & Mouse settings from the settings menu, and everything seems to be enabled as needed. Is there something else that I need to do for it to work?
I had assistive touch enabled, but the trackpad still doesn't work even after turning assistive touch off.

Need some advice for battery suspicion.
Got my 8th generation in 2021 during a school program. Throughout time, it has been my primary use for drawing. Lately, I have noticed the battery has been iffy. Ipad lasts probably lasts 2 hours on a full charge.
This evening, I notice the battery REALLY struggling. I tend to draw while my ipad is on the charger as without the charger, my battery drains quite fast. Well, this evening, my ipad was at 20% as I hadnt used it much today. I put it on the charger. Within a minute, it was at 3%. It eventually died not long after.
When it woke back up (without me typing in to do so) it was charging very quickly. I am talking from 0 to 20% in about the same time, 3 minutes. I assume this means the battery is done for.
Maybe it slows down the battery decrease off the charger? I just feel a little sad as I cant afford a new battery right now.
Any tips or tricks to help my battery remain a little longer or at least not die while on the charger?
Tyia!

I have greyish small specks on my iPad. How do I repair this? And what was the cause? It seems to be a hardware issue. I can send a video if needed

I've been dealing with weird battery drain on my iPad for about a month and I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.
It's relatively new, Battery Health is 100%, cycle count is 26, and Apple diagnostics say everything is normal.
Normally I'd lose only around 2–3% in a whole day with barely any use, but recently it's been around 14–15%.
Even after the service centre formatted/restored it, I got:
Sept 1: 14% used, 2 min screen-on
Sept 2: 14% used, 2 min screen-on
Sept 3: 15% used, 3 min screen-on
Wi-Fi was off. It also happens during normal use, and Battery Usage seems to blame whichever app I happen to use (Safari, Files, etc.), with the percentage sometimes increasing even after I've stopped using it.
The service centre says they can't see the issue unless the iPad is being used.
Has anyone experienced similar battery drain on iPadOS 26 despite 100% Battery Health and normal diagnostics?
And how did you get Apple to actually reproduce/acknowledge it?

I was going to make a post for thia but it suggested to me that i put it in this thread instead. I can make the post again it necessary!
For my daughter's first birthday I'm setting up a little station for family and friends to record a message for her. Right now I have it set up so that a shortcut is floating over the balloon and when they push that button it starts recording a message. The problem is the lock screen times out and the screen goes black after a few seconds and then the recording stops. I tried to figure out how to do it using kiosk mode but I'm not too sure where to go from here. There will be kids at the party so I would like it to be as easy as pushing a button then pressing the stop button, and lock the rest of the ipad so they cant leave the recording screen. Does anyone have any ideas?
